Jill Hennessy

Jill Hennessy one of Canada's highest-paid TV actors was born 25 November 1968 in Edmonton, Alberta. She was in Law and Order. Chris Noth was her co-star. Hennessy was raised in Edmonton. Her father John Hennessy was a meat salesman as well as a sales/marketing executive, a job that required considerable travel and resulted in frequent moves for the family. Maxine, her secretary mother quit the family after she moved to Kitchener Ontario in 1982. Then, she handed her daughter to her mother Eleanor. Her twin sister Jacqueline is a journalist, while her older brother John Paul J.P. Hennessy Jr. was born in Canada. Hennessy has a father that is of Irish French Swedish Italian descent, while her mother is mainly Ukrainian Roma with Austrian roots. She went to Stanley Park Senior Public School after which she completed her studies at Grand River Collegiate Institute in Kitchener Ontario and used to busk on her local Toronto subway. Hennessy and her sister had their first acting experience on Dead Ringers 1988 as twin callgirls. Gillian Anderson, who played Dana Scully at The X-Files, claimed that Hennessy was thought of to play the character. She married Paolo Mastropietro in 2000. The couple have two children.
