Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw aka Elizabeth Alice MacGraw was an American actor, animal advocate and author who won several awards. She has been acclaimed for her roles in films such as Love Story (from 1970), Goodbye Columbus, (1969), and The Getaway, (1972). She was drawn to becoming an artist was influenced from her childhood in a New York family of artists. Her first job was as an assistant to photographers. Then she moved on to modeling and acting. Her first two movies, she was recognized and won the Golden Globe Award as Most Promising Young Actress. MacGraw quickly became famous following the success of her 1970 film Love Story. She was considered for nomination to an Academy Award and won a Golden Globe. In just three films MacGraw became the most popular female box office actress in the entire world. Her footprints from 1972 as well as autograph was engraved on the wall of Grauman's Chinese Theater. She was a part of several other movies, including The Getaway Convoy Players and TV miniseries The Winds of War among other. Her autobiography Moving Pictures was published in 1991. MacGraw was married three occasions.
