Luciana Paoluzzi was born in Rome and was raised by her parents. Her father was Manlio Paoluzzi, who was an Italian officer of the army. Maria Rota Paoluzzi was one of Benito Mussolini's mistresses. There is no information about her having siblings. Luciana is the only female to have graduated in her high school in Milan. Luciana also studied nautical engineering there. Her modeling career began after two years. However, this transformed when she was offered her first role in acting accidentally during a visit to her father's Rome close friend. It was a two-line character in Three Coins in the Fountain. Brett Halsey - an actor - was her first spouse. The couple made Return to the Peyton Palace in the year 1960, after having married.
